Amy Adelson, Esq.
Amy Adelson has specialized for over 25 years in criminal appeals, sentencing issues and post-conviction remedies in cases ranging from white collar fraud to murder. She has appeared in state and federal courts throughout the country, and is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in New York, the U.S. Supreme Court, and most of the United States Courts of Appeals.
Ms. Adelson has represented on appeal a broad range of clients, including former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards; Mike Tyson; Cicero Mayor Betty Loren-Maltese; Medical Examiner Dr. William Sybers, General Counsel of Rite-Aid, Franklin Brown; John DuPont and currently, Dr. Mehmood Patel of Louisiana.
She has also taught courses at New York University School of Law in legal analysis and writing, with a focus on appellate advocacy, has co-chaired Appellate Advocacy programs for the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and has written for The Champion, the NACDL journal, on appellate issues.
Ms. Adelson was a member of Dershowitz, Eiger & Adelson, P.C. in New York City for over twenty years. She is a graduate of New York University School of Law, Order of the Coif.

Daniela Elliott has specialized in appellate practice for 15 years, primarily handling criminal appellate and post-conviction matters in a broad range of cases that have included fraud, murder, sexual assault and gang assault. A seasoned writer, Ms. Elliott is experienced in preparing appellate briefs and motions, sentencing memos, habeas petitions and petitions for certiorari to the United States Supreme Court. She has prepared briefs and petitions for filing in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Ms. Elliott worked closely with Amy Adelson for 15 years as an associate of Dershowitz, Eiger & Adelson, P.C. in New York City. She is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law.
